Home Page
Whatever program components you have selected for your ergonomics
program, the home page displays your program in a nutshell. Custom
designed with your company's logo and graphics, this home page outlines
your efforts to help your employees. It also serves as a portal
to the rest of Omegaergonomics.com's offering of online assistance
products.
Online Training
Your employee training can either take place in a classroom setting
or online. Our online training program powered by IMPACC software
directly corresponds to Omega's "live" "Game-Time™"
training programs. The online training gives your employees and
their department's flexibility in scheduling and attending training
sessions. It also provides pre- and post-testing that is tabulated
online for the employee to assist in retention of the material.
Our second online training option takes your employees through
a step by step overview of how to adjust their work station, use
proper posture and body mechanics, and perform regular stretches
to enhance blood flow and reduce the risk of injury. This training
option goes hand in hand with Omega's, Cardinus©-powered online
risk assessment (see below).
Online Risk Assessment
Powered by Cardinus©, Omega's online risk assessment is second
to none. Cardinus© was voted as the "Innovation in Training"
and "Productivity" awards at the National Ergonomics Conference
in 2003. It is used extensively throughout Europe and now in North
America. This online risk assessment tool takes your employees through
a comprehensive work station evaluation. It then prompts your employees
to take corrective action based on their responses to the risk assessment.
Something needs to be done onsite? No problem. The PACE© administrative
software returns to the program administrator a full menu of capabilities
that allows you to identify risk, develop an abatement strategy,
assign the modification to the appropriate department/agent either
on or offsite, and assign a due date. When the task is completed,
it is simply logged into PACE© and the problem is solved. No
need for lengthy evaluations then seeking out the right people to
make your ergonomic modifications. Omega's system powers you through
the process quickly and easily right from your office. The capabilities
described here barely scratch the surface of this software's capabilities.

Automatically cycling ergo tips keep your ergonomics and injury
prevention program on the front of everyone's minds. Regularly cycling
and customizable, these tips offer useful tidbits to your employees
about any topic you would like. The tips cycle automatically and
can be programmed to be delivered to any addresses specified at
predetermined intervals.
Online Ergo Warehouse™ - Once your
company decides what ergonomic equipment will be made available
to its employees, they can be automatically inserted in the "Ergo
Warehouse™." This online informational system allows
your employees to browse through any products that may be available
to them through your onsite program capabilities. Obviously this
is completely customizable (or omissible) per your organization's
needs. Products are coded and can be correlated with your current
ordering system, online risk assessment and PACE management software,
and your "brick and mortar" Ergo Warehouse™.
Getting Started Online
All we need in order to get started is a list of emails (in Excel
format) of your employees, program administrators, and other onsite
staff that will have access to omegaergonomics.com and the PACE
administration software. Any graphics or special programming components
to customize omegaergonomics.com is also required at the beginning
of the term.
