Omega Health Systems (formerly Omega Solutions in Healthcare) was founded in 1997 to address the needs of employers and workers' compensation payors for ergonomic solutions to cumulative trauma disorders in employees. It has since developed into a thriving, multifaceted organization that answers the needs of businesses that understand that they must invest in their people in order to succeed.
OHS was formed to bring together in a single center of excellence a comprehensive set of state of the art resources and programs specifically conceived to apply best practices to resolution of ergonomic risks in a wide variety of work environments.
Now OHS boasts several service lines, each devoted to a specific subset of organizational injury and illness prevention. They serve a broad range of needs for employers and are designed to optimize health by systematically driving down risk present in the environment, psychology, and behavior of individuals.
OHS is staffed by professionals in the fields of ergonomics, injury prevention best practices, general health maintenance, workplace safety, and information technology aids. The goal of OHS and its various programs is to maintain and optimize the productivity of those businesses it serves, to improve facilities and equipment design, to aid management in its supervision, to provide job training and general education, to foster in-depth workplace safety awareness—and to generate overall healthy lifestyles. |
